Kosovo vacations
An independent country, it is still known by some as a ‘disputed territory’ post Balkan wars. With a relatively small area, its Damned (really) and Sharri Mountains magnificence conquers all, its ancient architecture in the capital Pristina is masterful, and its people – from the Albanians to the Gorani – all have stories to share. And some.

The variation between the coast and the mountains was amazing and we enjoyed the trip immensely. We saw some beautiful countryside and towns, villages, monasteries, castles etc, it was great. The standout highlights, and there were many, were Skopje, Budva, Kotor, Biogradska Gora National Park, Ohrid, Prizren, Blue Eye National Park, Gjirokastra to name a few. (more)Michael Cain
